We had to write down a sentence from the article we read and we also had to write down a connection to the text. We had to write it down for text to self, text to text and text to world. Once we finished the google slide we had to create a DLO about what Making Connections means and examples of text to self, text to text and text to world. For the examples we had to use the article that we read before.

LI. To create a group whakatauki. This week for inquiry we had to create a group whakatauki. Our whakatauki is 'Work as a team, Improve as a team, co-operate as a team, we strive together'. It represents to strive we have to work together, improve together, and co-operate together. We had to have our motto as well as our team logo.

Brand Mottos

LI: To make a motto that represents you as a team. This week for inquiry we had to make a DLO about different mottos and we had to make a motto for our team. First we had to watch a small clip about the lion king. Then we moved on to our DLO. For the DLO we decided to make a google slide. For the different mottos we had to include what the brands motto represent. My team and I decided to do 5 different mottos. The brands that we did was Adidas, Apple, KFC, Rebel Sports and Coke. Once we finished doing the different mottos we moved on to making our own motto. My team and I came up with '' Think Unique ". We came up with this motto because we want people to think of us as being unique, creative and a inspiration.

LI. To create a logo for the minute to win it games. This week for inquiry we had to create a logo for our team because we are having a minute to win it contest based on the Winter Olympics. Mr. Ogilve and Mr. Wong has bought some meterials and things we need to make a game out of inside LS1. ABAN stands for the first letter of the countries that our team mates were born in. The people in my group are Sakina, Victoria, Jordan and Chris. The 'A' stands for America, the 'B' stands for Burma, the other 'A' stands for Afghanistan, and the last one 'N' stands for New Zealand, and the colors of the atom are our favourite colors, I like red, Chris and Sakina likes blue, Jordan likes green, and lastly Victoria likes yellow.
